Research

I’m in my final year of my PhD studies, which is part of the Neuroimaging of Inflammation in MemoRy and Other Disorders (NIMROD) study. My research focuses on how the PET radiotracer [18F]AV1451 and [11C]PK11195 are useful to compare the distribution and intensity of tau pathologies and the presence of inflammation in Progressive Supranuclear Palsy and Alzheimer’s disease, both in vivo and by using postmortem data.
